The right swimwear for 12-year-olds should be comfortable, age-appropriate, and provide adequate coverage. One-piece swimsuits or tankinis are popular choices for this age group, as they offer more coverage and support. It's important to consider the child's personal style and preferences when choosing swimwear, as well as ensuring that it provides a good fit and allows for easy movement. Additionally, sun protection should be taken into account, so consider swimwear with built-in UPF protection or encourage the use of rash guards and swim shirts. **
